Are you happy ?
I found Goth and alnaternative music when i was a depressed teen. I re connected with it as a depressed divorced adult. I made a decision yesterday to commit to recovery and im wondering how that will affect my goth.
Certain songs i find hard to listen to. I love Heaven Is Waiting by Danse Society but I listened to that when I was homeless smoking heroin and now that im not in that space it just feels strange listen to it.
Goths that are happy, how did you still like it after you got happy? For me the music is so much connected to dark

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry – Talk about the weather
this song reminds me of the city I live in because we’re obsessed about talking about the weather, raining or not raining PNW

goth song recs that are more upbeat/driving/energetic?
i'd love more song recommendations for more upbeat songs, not upbeat as in happy, but like, good driving beats or more hardcore! i like sisters of mercy a lot and i'd like to branch out to more subgenres too
